Welcome

Switzerland offers a wide range of attractive legal gambling opportunities – among them lotteries, sports betting and skill-based games. The purpose of the Swiss Gambling Supervisory Authority (Gespa) is to ensure that participation in such gambling is safe for everyone.

Our website provides comprehensive information on gambling in Switzerland, on its regulation in general and on Gespa, the supervisory and enforcement authority. Since illegal gambling persists on the most diverse channels, you will also find a number of cautionary notes on illicit offers.
